Another EPG question

I have read the FAQ and still get the "There was an error connecting to the SageTV server. Please be sure Internet connection is established and that you have entered the correct Zip/Postal Code."

I just installed Stuckless' docker and got it running.
I put my license key in the directory with Sage.jar, called it activkey

I used my STV6UPG license, do I have to include the original v1 license as well? I'm hoping the Version 6 license is what it needs, but no go.

From what I read that was all I needed to do, however I still get that error.

I do still have my old XP SageTV box running, could that be the issue? Maybe you cannot have two servers hitting the EPG data? I want to get the docker version running and recording correctly/reliably before decommissioning the XP box.

EDIT: OK I found a STV7 license as well, but that didn't work either. I don't see a version requirement listed in the FAQ, maybe I just missed it?

thanks,
david

Try sending your key by PM to Narflex. Perhaps it needs whitelisting.

Ok I heard back and my license is already whitelisted.

I think my issue is that the license is still in use by my windows XP box. When I just tried the linux server, it got EPG data, but now my WindowsXP box doesn't. Seems I won't get much time to try out the linux version before having to commit.

I've got my key in both right now and it's fine. You put it in the folder with startsage script right? And did you put just the key in (not your name and the key like it took for the application)?

The problem isn't that you're using it on both boxes. It's likely some other networking/firewall issue.
