Mini Client problem on Windows

I just moved from a working v7 install on windows 10 to a new machine, also running windows 10. I installed via the windows installer, and the server side is working fine, both extenders work, but the client on the PC doesn't work.

Its a headless server, so I use teamviewer to login, as I did without issue on the previous computer.

When I open the sagetv application the splash screen opens and everything progresses normally, but then when its loaded it just shows a blank, black window.

Any ideas?

Just to clarify, when you say "the client on the PC," do you mean the client running on the server itself, viewed remotely with Teamviewer?

This sounds similar;

I'd start with video driver upgrade if possible. If that doesn't help, maybe someone else is aware of a missing package, an earlier/later version of java on the server, or a different way to render the SageTV UI.
