Problem accessing the file system

Hi All,
I've updated from 7 to 9 using the Windows installer. After some initial headaches (lucean jar file), SageTV started up, but now I am getting the following error:

There was a capture Error in playback. Details:
ERROR (-3,0x80070005): There was a problem accessing the file system for capture.

Looking at past post, Narflex indicated this might be an issue where WMP is locking a file (https://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31577). I don't see this option in the latest WMP though.

My setup is:
Windows 10 Pro, SageTV 9 installer over SageTV 7
Recording are on a local drive (not networked).

Thoughts?

Ben

Do you have the Sage Service configured to log in as a user? If not, you probably need to. Make sure the user account you use has read/write permission for the recording directories you are using for Sage.

This can be done through the SageTVServiceControl.exe program. It gets reset when you run the Windows installer.

I just solved this problem by completely removing a previously installed copy of MediaPortal.
