Schedules Direct: Disabled Channels Still Showing in Web UI Search

I just setup Schedules Direct yesterday, and I've noticed a problem. When I search for something in the Web UI, results from disabled channels show up there as well as results from channels that are enabled. I've found dozens of channels showing up in the search results which are disabled.

These channels don't show up in the Web UI EPG, and they don't show up when I search for something with the built in SageTV search. Only the Web UI search displays these channels.

I've forced an EPG refresh, but these disabled channels are still showing in the Web UI search.

Any ideas? The data must be in the wiz.bin file (I don't know why it would be) and SageTV is ignoring it, but the Web UI still sees it.

Let's assume for a moment that you have more than one tuner. After getting Schedules Direct running, removing any old tuners, and reinstalling your first tuner (the point where you would enable/disable channels in the lineup), did you proceed to install each consecutive tuner using an exact copy of the same lineup?

Go in and check the lineup on each tuner to be sure.

I have two tuners. I set up the second tuner to use the same existing Schedules Direct lineup that I created for the first tuner. I just double checked, and the lineups are the same.

If I did somehow make two separate lineups, one with channels that I want disabled (but are actually enabled but mistake), shouldn't those channels show up in the guide? None of these channels are showing up in the guide, they only show up when I do a search with the Web UI.

That's correct, Peter. Sorry, I have no other ideas.

My system does not experience this search issue on SageTV V9.

I'm going to clear out all of my sources again and start from scratch. Hopefully that will fix it.

I deleted both of my sources, shut down SageTV, and then deleted these two files sdmd5prog/sdmd5sched.

I started SageTV and confirmed that the entire EPG was blank, and my recording schedule was blank.

Before adding the sources back, I went to the WebUI and did a search. Sure enough, all of those disabled channels are still showing results (despite the fact that no sources are currently configured).

I set up one of my sources and I am waiting for the EPG download right now. As the EPG is downloading, those disabled channels are still showing in Web UI searches.

Does anyone know how to clear out this stuff from the Wiz.bin? These disabled channels are still hanging around regardless of what I do.

Is it possible that those results are actually stored in your browser cache? Are you running the search on the same term?

I'm running different search terms (just random actors names).

I think I might just export my favorites and then nuke my wiz.bin, starting from scratch. I'll lose watched info, but my wiz.bin is up to 86MB now. Which seems a little on the large side to me. Maybe some corruption in it?

I'd probably wait to here from someone who knows more. At least just make a backup of the wiz.bin file if you do this, or better yet, your whole SageTV directory.

Well, the full EPG update took quite a while (almost two hours), but things seem to be fixed now. The disabled channels are now gone from the Web UI search results, and my wiz.bin has shrunk itself down to 41MB.

I must have done something wrong the first time I set up Schedules Direct.
