Java Heap stays high with no noticeable impact?

Running Gemstone on a Win10 VM with 8 cores and 8GB, with all the fanart bling for now. Java Heap seems to be pegged often (according to the monitor), but if I wasn't watching it like a hawk I don't think I would notice. Fanart is not appearing as I would expect, but navigation and normal usage seems okay except for a lag here and there, nothing too bad. What's the issue if I just let it run like this?

As you likely know the memory in the VM doesn't really matter as with SageTV the thing that matters is the JVM heap size and for Windows that is currently limited at 1GB.

There probably isn't anything wrong with running it like this but if you try to run multiple extenders simultaneously then you may run into problems.

What do you mean about Fanart not appearing - does it not show up at all?

It's showing up sporadically. Most glaring issue is that few TV shows have a banner. In some cases (Better Call Saul), BMT is not finding anything at all. In others, BMT appears to have found everything including multiple banners, but no banner is displayed. I can go in and name one as a default, but other shows pick one without me doing anything.

Still learning as I go, but this is what I've noticed so far

There is also a bug at times that appears to be in Phoenix, which is the engine for the Fanart. You an go into BMT and see that there does not appear to be any default Fanart image set. So you click on an image and click set as default and it fixes the problem.

I have come across a bug in Gemstone where after several days the Fanart will completely stop appearing as Java throws an error when it tries to retrieve or display the Fanart. This goes away when I restart Sage.
