Best settings for software decoding
What settings/filters/decoders/etc. do you all prefer for software decoding vs. the 350's hardware decoding (trying to avoid that for the moment until driver issues are worked out)??
What's the best combo that gives optimal video + sound? Justin |

I am currently using NvDVD for Video with Overlay, and Intervideo NonCSS for Audio. The only problems I found is the NvDVD decoder for Audio will lock up during skipping forward and backward, hence the use of the Intervideo one.
Speaking for myself, I have found the NvDVD decoder to be the best, at least in overlay, because it's deinterlacing seems to be the closest to a perfectly interlaced signal, like from the 350. Some say the Sonic decoder is better for audio, but I don't own Sonic so I cannot say.
