How much Fahrenheit is to Hot?

Hey, I left my computer alone in my apartement for a month. Since it is very hot in Los Angeles at the moment (104 Fahrenheit /40 Celsius) I logged into my computer over the internet and saw the the CPU was at 140 Fahrenheit /60 Celsius.

My CPU is a AMD Duron Processor and I'm wondering if this is way too hot for my CPU. How much is dangerous for how long?

Does anybody have any insight on this?

It's fine. They can take temps up to 90C and survive.
