Music Juke Box can't do
I created a bunch of MP3's and stored them on e:\Music\mixed.
Under Setup I selected e:\Music\mixed as the import folder. Now what do I do? Searching through the forum I saw mention of Tags, but have no idea what they are and what to do about them. I used EasyCD Creator to create the MP3's and they play fine in Windows Media Player. Wow, does Sage need a manual badly!!! Thanks, Wolfgang

use music match to tag the music
it is very easy and they have a nice library there are also free tools if you do not want to pay the 20 dollars for the plus version with tagging |

Most MP3 rippers support the generation of these tags when the file is ripped from CD using on-line databases such as cddb.org or freedb.org. Sage uses these ID3 tags exclusively to find out what a mp3 file contains (it ignores the file name), so when using the default skin, if your MP3 files do not have these tags, they will not be filed in the correct artist/album folders in the Sage jukebox If there is an image embedded in the ID3 tag, Sage will also use that to display album art. The MLBdude2 skin (in the Customisations area) has a folder/filename based music jukebox that may not need these tags. |
