Cursor popping up during TV watching

The WAF took a hit last night.

While watching TV I had three things go wrong.

#1 The mouse pointer popped up three times during an hour long show.

Is there any way to prevent or suppress the mouse to make sure this doesnt happen again?

#2. The guide information popped randomly twice during the show (the info on the top and the bottom).

#3 One pause during play back..

I imagine this is because I have a client/server and there was a hickup in my network traffic or something.. Not a big deal.. I can always rewind just in case..

Thanks for your responses guys/gals or non specific gender persons to be more politically correct .

Sticky.

It sounds like somebody clicked/bumped the mouse a couple times, 2 goes with 1, when you click the mouse, the OSD pops up.

Something you can try:
In the properties file, set
ui/focus_follows_mouse=false

Remember to make sure Sage is completely closed (not just asleep) when you edit it.

As for 3, you may be right, are you on a Wireless network?

Stranger..

Nope on a wired network...

No one was around the mouse when it happened.. I will try that out and see... My mouse was fying at the time so maybe it did something funky..

Ahh well

thanks for the tips..
