sound device

I intent to use the WinXP/Pro machine as both a PVR and continue to use as a Windows machine.

The only extra step appears to be to add a second audio device so I can have the Sage AUDIO go to the TV and the rest of the Audio Applications use the Windows default audio device.

To that end I was looking to add a USB audio device ($39), but need to edit the config for Sage to go to this device instead of the default audio device. Is this possible?

Thanks

Yes, SageTV lets you specify your Audio Renderer. As long as Windows can tell the difference between the two, then Sage will be able to tell the difference as well. It's under the Advanced section of the Setup menu.
