Sage won't stop recording

Got a strange issue and I don't how where to look to solve it. Our house lost power late one night for several hours. The battery backup I had didn't last long enough and the Windows 10 SageTV server vMWare virtual machine I crashed when the UPS finally gave out. Was restored, The virtual machine booted cleanly but Sage wanted to run through its setup again. I did that, adding the OTA tuners back in and thought that everything was good. My existing recordings were there and all of my other settings were kept.

However, I've found out that the server now continually is recording on at least two of my tuners at all times. If I switch to a channel that is recording I cannot stop the recording. I've looked through my favorites and see nothing that would trigger the recordings. And the recordings are fairly random, different shows on different channels.

Does anyone know where I might go to begin troubleshooting?

With intelligent recording turned out, this sounds like the usual behavior. SageTV will try to find shows to record that it thinks you may like. Did you have that setting turned off before? Maybe it got turned on as part of the setup process you just went through.

BINGO! We have a winner! Intelligent recording was enabled. Good thing there was someone intelligent enough to suggest this.
