program guide data not updating

from Setup > System Information

Software Version: SageTV V9.2.6.976 (64-bit)
Java Version: 1.8.0_351
Operating System: Windows 8.1 6.3
Last EPG Update: Friday, November 18, 2022 12:01
Next EPG Update In: 0 minutes

my last guide data is for 2022-11-20 17:00 MST (UTC-7)

anything else I can provide to get this resolved?

Do you have multiple installations of SageTV or Schedules Direct clients? Recent anti-piracy changes require allow one use of the account at a time.

If not, a few NextPVR users are having troubles with SD not receiving the same Internet IPV4 address from the client because the provider changes the source address which also triggers anti-piracy logic. There is nothing the client can do and SD have been looking at the problem for too long IMO. I would open a lineup ticket, SD forum posts have been useless.

SageTV probably will need to implement changes to deal with this for users that do have multiple servers. There might also be errors getting SD art, AFAIK only NextPVR and EPG123 get art properly now.

I only have a single installation of SageTV on my laptop that's been working without problems for years.

I'll open a lineup ticket.

I have 2 installations of SageTV and just started getting this (next EPG update 0 minutes) error.
Not sure how this can be fiexed for folks like myself. The only thing I can think of is to shut down one server and restart the other one and see if it updates. If so then reverse the process and shut down the one that updated and fire up the one I had shut down. "Fingers Crossed"

I submitted a lineup ticket on my Schedules Direct account page.

I got the response:

Your access to our service is coming from 160 different IP addresses in the last 24h, so it has triggered the anti-fraud mechanism which is in place to prevent pirated boxes from purchasing one account and sharing it with multiple users.

Who is your Internet service provider?
I responded "T-Mobile 5G Home Internet (fixed wireless)"

8 hours later I got a reply: "Check now please."

My program guide now has data through Dec 8.

As was mentioned in a different thread (here or on SD Forum -- I'm old and can't remember) T-Mobile Home Internet seems to be messing things up.

In any event, as suggested by @emveepee a few posts above, submitting a lineup ticket at your SD account page may get a resolution (yet to be seen if it's permanent).

As I noted if you have multiple installations then SageTV likely needs to changed because only one authorization token is valid at a time. If you avoid the overlap in fetching the guide data, then it really depends on the life of the token in SageTV, and how it is reacquired. I would think restarting the service would generate a new token.

If you aren't getting Schedules Direct art that could be another problem since the token is needed for it now too.

Not sure what "fixed" it. When I got up this morning both machines had updated the EPG and next update was several hours out. (I have multiple lineups on each machine as well)

I don’t think art has been working with Schedule Direct in Sage for a couple of years now. Sage used to display images for actors, but they are almost always blank now.
