Slideshows

I have been using SageTV a very long time. I have always liked having sagetv scroll thru Random Slideshow pictures when a show is paused, and sometimes during holiday parties go directly into Photos Slideshows. I have about 1100 pictures in the folder now and it seems only a small percentage scroll by before it stops lately.
Are there limits of the Android client I am experiencing? Anyone know what they are? Quantity, Size etc?

Its extremely hard to quantify how many I am seeing as it could take hours and who knows how many I am missing vs how many go by. That's why I am wondering if there are built in limits. I've been tailing the sagetv_0.txt file and am not seeing anything logged while the slideshow is going. (I just recently found the "tail" feature of notepad++ NICE!) Is there anyway to log whats being done on the slide show?

I am mainly using Josh's Sagetv Android Client on an Nvidia Shield.

Apparently this is an unknown quantity with no reply's in almost 2 weeks. I will look into other ways to get photos more consistently onto the TV.

Bill just replied in your other thread. I have been having the same issue ever since I started using the miniclient. Should have posted earlier.

Apparently no one else uses it but us.. Back in a prior life I wrote a lot of code, but it was so long ago I wouldn't know where to star looking for an issue. I started looking for other avenues to try on my Shield, but in testing they don't seem to get past 32 pictures. -Bill
