DVD Playback and hardware acceleration
I have a PVR 350 and an EPIA M1000 MB. I think that means I have 2 mpeg2 hardware decoders. I am using the video out of the EPIA since I want TV and DVD playback... When I check the box (in the PowerDVD or CinePlayer) codec control panel to enable hardware acceleration, I get a MPEG error an nothing plays. Shouldn't I be able to use hardware decoding with this hardware? Thanks...
Andy

Any luck?
I am having an issue with a new via epia m10000: I can play DVDs without issue, but when I attempt to use Sage Client or play a MPEG locally, then it locks-up after about 15 minutes. The MPEGs I am trying were created using Sage 2.0.20 (3.25GBpHR). I have tried various builds of XP from sp1a to sp2. I have powerDVD XP 4 installed with it set to hardware acceleration. I also have tried powerDVD XP 5. I am stumped. Thanks for any tips from anyone. |

My system is rock solid.
I am using the video out NOT the PVR 350. I use the Sonic or PowerDVD fine for DVD and get best results from the intervideo non css for TV viewing. Running XP Pro SP1
