Videoplus Numbers on RT

Anyone experienced duplicate recordings since they came into use? It seems sage compares the program epg and then decides if it's a dupe or not? Some descriptions have a videoplus no. at the end, some don't.

XMLTV imported stuff has an EPGID based on program name+episode name, so if the episode name differs (with VideoPlus codes) then Sage will see it as a different recording...
The XMLTV people are aware of the issue, and there is a patch for the perl source...

Actually it does, just me being dense

Any way to compile this into a win32 binary rather than having to use my friends machine to do it?

Thewin32 compilation tool that the xmltv project uses is pay-ware so probably not unless you know someone that has it...

Other options are cygwin to give a Unix environment in Windows (I use this and there is a README.cygwin in the xmltv source zip) or a win32 Perl interpreter (activeperl)
