Can't get rid of Closed Caption during DVD Playback
Message Header says it all really. I can't get rid of the closed captions during DVD playback....well, I can but then the sound goes away!
When I select "Default" as the Video Decoder and "Cyberlink" as the Audio Decoder filter then I get Dobly digital 5.1 and Closed captions. When I select anything else as the video decoder the sound goes away....as do the closed captions. I've checked the settings in PowerDVD and everything checks out OK. I should note that I have AC3Filter v .07b which I needed to run Dolby Digital 5.1 (I had the closed caption problem before I insatalled this software). Also, I am running DVI out my Hitachi 57SWX20B and S/PDIF to my Marantz 6300 Home Theatre receiver. Intel d865PERL p4 2.8 Radeon ATI 9600 (128MB RAM) Hauppage PVR 250 MCE Software PowerDVD Sage 2.0 runnin in Wndows XP Home Ed
