Recording Quality: Null

Hi, i am testing SageTV and it seems to be quite amazing for now. Just a small problem, whenever I try to change recording quality the only option that appears is NULL.

I am using a usb 2 pinnacle pctv deluxe mpeg2 hardware encoder tuner (Broadcom chip) and it works flawlessley in sagetv to watch tv and do time shifting, except for that "can't change quality" annoyance.

Is that because my encoder is not offiacly supported in sagetv? or am I doing something wrong?

Regards

YEAH email them and tell frey it works but you cannot change the recording quality and that you would like an update soon with a fix

this has happened with other cards as well

you just need to let them know about it

good to here that device works

Anyone getting this null recording quality problem with Hauppauge tuners? Is there a fix? I'm switching over to a new system with my existing 250 & usb2 tuners, but SageTV so far is not allowing me to change the recording quality. I've tried a couple different drivers, with no change. Oh yeah -- this is on XP Pro SP2.

I never got around to removing that line... I don't know what I might have done, but I've got recording quality settings back.
