ATI decoder deinterlacing?
Since I have an HDTV wonder, and ATI 9800 Pro, and the ATI decoder installed I decided to give it a shot in Sage. The only problem is that the video is interlaced. Is there any way to turn on deinterlacing in the ATI decoders for Sage?

can you explain what you mean
I use the ATI decoders and they work fine by chance are you using the weave setting in SageTV? you can use radlight to adjust the decoder for when you use it in sageTV but by default the deinterlacing is auto they are basically the same decoders that you get from Cyberlink but for some reason the ones from ATI can do VMR9 and the powerDVD ones cannot |

I have DXVA Deinterlacing set to Default in Sage, CyberLink(ATI) decoder selected for video, and the video is interlaced during playback. When using the ATI MMC software, which uses the same decoder, video is deinterlaced properly. I have the latest decoder installed, which is around 2 weeks old. Maybe it's only a problem with the new decoder.

I will test out the new one and post back
you can still get older versions though if I have the same issue I will see if there is a workaround also I meant deinterlacing mode not DXVA mode unless you meant Deinteralcing & DXVA modes |

yeah you know what the deinterlacing is not working correctly
their is defintely better picture quality VMR9 is more stable and runs smoother but thats probably because there is no deinterlacing the past version worked fine I would download it |
