Timed recordings
It would be nice when doing a time recording to have the recording break apart by tv show.
Let's say I really like Fox, I could setup a timed recording to record everyday during primetime. It would be alot quicker than picking each show, for each day as favorites. Then if something new came along it would just record that too. I have 4 tuners, ideally it would be nice to say record all first run episodes of channel w,x,y,z from 7 to 10. Is there any way to do this now?

No. You would have to create a favorite for each show you want to record & then set each favorite to record only First Runs.

You can always submit a feature request to Frey.
 It sounds like it could be done with a "Favorite by Channel", set to record only during a specific time period, if the capability for such a type of favorite were ever added.- Andy
