Xp system crash, now can't change DTV

Ok, subject is vague. XP crashed, wiped out system. Worst I've seen. Anyway, didn't have current enough backup, so elected to install Win2000 instead. Reinstalled everything, including my DTVCL application (directv channel changer). Re-installed SageRecorder, now I can't change channels. I don't see support listed in 3rd party apps for it anymore. How can I get the signals out of Sage to change my channels? Like I said, DTVCL is fully installed, and works fine manually, or command line. In sage, I selected .exe plugin for control agent. Selected RCA??? for the Svideo input. No go...

Wish I had backed up the $*(%&*(^$ system, would have saved me the headache of setting up this stinkin Hauppauge again.

TIA
TJD
