is the small step worth it?

I have just spotted a fairly cheep (£60) 'Asus V9520 Video Suite' graphics card. This card uses the GeForce FX5200 GPU.

I currently have a PNY 'Verto' Nvidia GeForce4 Ti 4800 (as you can see in my signature).

Codec wise, I am using NVDVD (2.5 I think) with VMR9.

I am really looking forward to seeing NVDVD 4 that will be bundled with Theatertek 2 (that should be out this month.

Would it be worth my while getting this card? Will I see a notable difference in my picture? Should I just save my money and get a 6800 of some kind (about 4x the price at the mo!!)?

Any thoughts would from you video gurus be great

Cheers guys/gals

From my experience, NO.

My older Geforce 3 Ti200 looks about the same as my Geforce 5500. Although the 5500 has a lot more size/position adjustments than my older card did.
