Digital and Analog cable at the same time?

I am thinking about picking up digital cable over my current directv because we can get the basic analog cable on my sagetv server.

1 pvr-250 set for digital
1 pvr-500(whenever it comes out) set for analog cable

Will sage be able to tell what tuner is setup with the analog cable channels and what one is the digital cable tuner? Since the analog tuners will have less channels, 1-75 where as digital has 1-130 i believe.

Yes. There should be a digital cable selection as the source (in the Setup Wizard: see Step 9A-3 on page 102 of the manual) for the one connected that way & the other 2 inputs would both use the non-digital cable source. There would then be 2 separate channel lineups. You'll probably want to make sure to set the encoder merit higher for the analog tuners so that the digital tuner isn't used unnecessarily for channels the otehr tuners don't receive.
