IR support... Not what you are thinking...
I need some help with IR transmit support. I could get rid of a remote and highly improve the WAF if I could get Sage to transmit the power on/ off for my TV (and reciever). Since I use the TV exclusively for sage, I do not need any other funtionality of the TV remote. I know I could use girder, but that seems like overkill for this one little function. Is there a way to do this? I already have a USB/UIRT so it is just a matter of getting the software to transmit the power code.
Alternatively, are the JP1 remotes fully programable such that the device/ power key can be programed to a different device code without impacting the other keys?

I don't know whether you can get SageTV to transmit the TV power codes (I'm guessing 'no'), but...
