Free upgrade to possible linux client?

I understand that the SageTV Client will have the same free upgrade policy as SageTV. I have heard talk of a linux version of SageTV. At the present time I don't really have a use for the Client, other than just playing around. However since you are currently offerring a price break on the Client, I thought I might buy now.
So what I am asking is:
1)If in the future a linux version of the SageTV Client is made available, would a SageTV Client license bought now cover this version as well?
2)Is there any chance of a limitted client being developed to allow internet access to the SageTV's EPG/scheduler?
2a)What about a limitted client for access to SageTV's EPG/scheduler thru a PocketPC, on a wireless local network?
3)Would there be a seperate charge for 2a(fair to charge IMO) and 2(should be free IMO) if they were developed?

I know a lot of this is stuff off in the future, but I bought SageTV because of a temporary price break. I would most likely buy the SageTV Client now, at it's current low price, if the license would cover some of the future clients above.

1) The Linux license would be separate because one doesn't exclude the other

2) What we are looking at now is possible access to your SageGuide information via the internet, a pocket pc, a phone, etc. I don't have any estimate for timing because Jeff and I are working out the logistics now. We'll keep you posted.

3) I can't really say because I don't know what it would take to implement at this point.
