SageRecorder.properties question

i'm using SageRecorder with a hauppauge 250 card. i've looked at the hpquality.txt file for info on tweaking the properties file, but i've got a couple of questions.

one thing i'd like to do is set the recording "sharpness" in custom quality settings. or, if i can set a global sharpness for the hauppauge card in the properties file, that's fine too. i note some lines that read similar to:

mmc/encoders/1642691032/3/0/sharpness=170

and i wonder if i can set encoder sharpness with these lines. there appear to be different encoders and different encoder lines, so i have no way of telling which is which.

so, my first question is if i *can* set sharpness in the properties file? my second question is, is there some info about these additional lines in the properties file that aren't discussed in the hpquality.txt file?

thanks!
