Enhancing the UI - Suggestions

I would like to start a thread talking about how to make the interface more manageable from a remote control, and a user standpoint. I have been using Tivo since the early days and have now completely switched over to using SageTV as its replacement. I notice that the navigation leaves something to be desired, along with other peoples opinions here on the board so how about we pose requests and see what comes of them?

1) Make the (select), (left), (right), (up), and (down) consistent. If you enter some menu using select, left should take you back to where you came from.
2) “Tivo like” double tap of menu to bring up the sage guide.
3) The ability to sort the Sage Recordings by:
a. What you asked to be recorded via manual, favorites, suggestions, time filler.
b. Newest to oldest.
c. From keep to “in danger” of being recorded over.
d. And the ability to filter only what you actually wanted to record.
4) How about some sounds
5) The ability to say you like a show, but not set up a “season pass”, I mean add it to your favorites.
6) When you add something to your favorites, ask if it should record all, first run, or both right then.
7) Double check if you really want to go into "advanced setup", once there the remote kinda sucks..
