I wish I could share your excitement. I reported these issues in 2.1 Beta and so far still a problem and I have been told several times by support that it will be fixed in the next release and then it is still not fixed 3 releases later.

Heres hoping it is fixed this time

John

FWIW, Support mentioned that this problem has now been fixed (note: not "will be" ) and will be included in the next build ... so I remain cautiously optimistic

Sorry I miss stated in my previous post. I was actually told it had been fixed in the previous releases and they were surprised when I sent in a new bug report saying that it was still not working. I am hopefull that this time they really have fixed.

Thanks for the clarification, John !

I think the confusion last time *may* have been that the issue was fixed when using Sage as a service but not when using Sage as a non-service regular app.

This time I specifically requested them to test if non-service Sage is re-initializing the serial ports correctly, and they stated that that is exactly what they tested.

Hope this additional bit of info helps. Like I said, I remain cautiously optimistic

It looks like the Standby issue with the USB-UIRT not responding after coming out of standby has been fixed.Ver 2.2.2. This is running Sage without the service module.
