Yet another newbie with a Menu Question

Greetings Guys,

I just built my PVR in the last few weeks and fell in love with it and Sage TV.

I am now trying to get everything configured the way I would like and I have one spot that has me stuck.

I would like to have two separate listings for Recordings. For one listing I would like it to display the Manual Recordings and Favorites Only using the SageRecordings Shortcut by Cayars screen. For the second listing I would like it to display Intellegent Recordings Only or All Recordings using the SageRecordings w/ Optional Preview & AutoCategories Two Pane Hor CSM screen. I was able to have my menu display the two screen formats using the following xml code...

But when I set the filter on one of them it changes the filter on the other, so they both display either Manuals and Favorites or All.

Can you guys suggest anything for me to try?

The default and the Two Pane version use the same property setting for sorting.

An immediate "fix" would be to setup your "shortcut" to use Malore's which uses it's own filter settings.

OK, Here's a dumb question. I tried Malore Sage TV Recordings and SageTV gives the error that the screen does not exist. I tried a colpe of other variations and they did not work either. So what is the actual screen name?

I think what Cayar meant was to keep it as SageRecordings Shortcut but to go to Setup-->Detailed Setup-->Enhancements (I think?) and change the Recordings Shortcut to Malore . I think its in Enhancements, one of the menus at the bottom (the first item in that menu).

I was afraid of that. I don't like that menu. Oh Well, maybe someone will update a STV in the future to allow separate filters for more then one recordings menu.

Well, I tried the Malore Menu for the Default recorded and the Two Pane for the rest and they both still shared the same filter options. So still looking for an option.

Truxton, I'll take a look at it. I can probably have the two screens use different property values for the selection/sorting options. I don't think this would be very difficult to do.
