SageTV Open Source v9 is available. - Read the SageTV FAQ. I could not find the download page, thus I got it from the store. In any event, I went home anyway and tried to inslall and it would notinstall due to a Java problem. Does the computer have to be on line for an install?

I'm not very familiar with SageTVRecorder (I use SageTV since it includes TV listings for easy scheduling recording & you can use a client on another PC), but for the java problem, I would suggest making sure your java installation is up to date.
Se the SageTVRecorder System Requirements & look near the bottom for link for java. - Andy
