Already Recorded Flag?

Hiya,

I did some searching and came up blank so I have a question: Lately I have been recording more and more shows to watch later and since a lot of them have become manually set records for movies and such I have increasingly become aware of the fact there is nothing to tell me if I have already recorded a show when I am looking in the guide/details of a future showing via the webserver. As such I keep finding multiple recorded copies of the same unwatched movies.

Does this functionality exist and I am just missing it? or
Does this functionality not exist and is coming to the webserver? or
Am I just dreaming that this could be done?

Thanks for your help guys
and Nielm you webserver is my main control for all things SageTV. I love it!

Looks great Nielm. Unfortunately I'm cruising in the Caribbean and can't test the BTV import at the moment. I'll do this as soon as I return on Dec 30th. If there are any other former BTV users out there give it a shot and see if its working for you then post back here. Again thanks for working on this Nielm!

I'm sure this is possible, I just don't know how.

I'd like to auto convert all my HD recording to one of the supported formats in the web server. I know I can go click on it manually and select what I want, but I'd like this done automatically after the recording is finished.

Generally I'd like all to be tanscoded to the MPEG4 HDTV format.

Is this possible?

Has anyone tried the power off with the HD Extender? I did, and it seemed to hang.

I'm finally back from vacation and wrote this post on how to import your BTV recorded shows into SageTV.

Thanks to Nielm for making this process possible! It makes converting over much smoother!

While the RT feed was down recently I used the DVB EPG for a few days, and I was surprised that the webserver did category colouring (for Movie and News). Now that I'm back to RT, my colours have disappeared (categories are named differently). They are set up in Sage but I guess the webserver doesn't pick them up from there.

Can I get category colouring back? Is it editable somewhere? Had a quick look in the properties files and in this thread, I didn't find anything.

Thanks!

Forgive me if this was posted already, but reading 51 pages of a thread just isn't an option. I'm getting an error if I go into the Web Interface, and try to tell the guide to put a particular live tv show onto the Extender. I go into the details of a recording, and click the link to "Play in Extender" and select the right one. I get the following error:

Unknown Airing/MediaFile ID passed
type:MediaFileId id:1449289 --java.lang.Exception: airing Id not found

Is this because it just doesn't work for live recordings? or is this just simply a bug? If I tell it to record, and then tell it to send to the extender it works. Just appears to be a glitch with grabing the info for the recording maybe?

-Todd

Nielm: Is there an easy way to see on the "Sage Recordings" page what format each video is in? I'd like to see whether it's an .mpg or an .avi file.

Anyone: I'm wondering how to use the XML feeds on my iPhone's RSS reader so I can be notified of any recording conflicts. Suggestions?

A couple of issues when I just upgraded to 2.22 of the web server. I got multiple errors when installing about not being able to read the properties file when setting the user name and port numbers. Although the about screen states 2.22 the install satates it failed.

I am trying to change the server off of the default port of 8080. Does anyone know how to do this manually? I have tried editing all of the prp. files I could find with port number in them but that does not seem to be the answer...

running Sage 6.3.5 as a service.

Thanks,
Skybolt

Here you go:
http://tools.assembla.com/sageplugin...rCustomisation

Some of the parameters used to start the webserver are stored in the sage.properties file, in the section: nielm/webserver/

nielm/webserver/port
The port used by the webserver
Default: 8080

I've been trying to work this out and failing.
The colouring seems to come from sage_all.css, e.g.:
Code:
	.epgcell table.show_sports {
			background: #12604a;
	}
	.epgcell table.oldshow_sports {
			background: #0b425d;
	}
But I can't find where "show_sports" is defined to try and define my other categories. Anyone have any ideas?

It's hardcoded, (copying Sage 5 and earlier's coloring methods).
It does not have to be, and it is probably easier if it is not! -- I will make some changes to make it more flexible in a future version..

Is it possible to have the web server not ask for a password if it is a local connection (within the local network)?

Thanks.

You can pass the login with the url
//username: password@host: port/sage/home
For me, in Firefox, I just get a confirmation popup...

Thanks for the reply. I currently use Firefox to remember the password, but this requires a confirmation too. I'd prefer nothing to pop up at all.

Any other ideas?

Thanks.
