It would be nice if sage actually launched

I just built a PVR box with 2x 150's and SageTV. Was installing Adobe Reader to look at the manual when there was quite a brutal crash (BSOD followed by full forced reboot). When I got back to the desktop, SageTV would no longer load. There is no error...nothing. Double click and "zilch"

Anybody else have experience with this? I hope I didn't make the wrong choice in this software. Thanks in advance for any help. Hope I get this fixed before the wife gives me more guilt on another "doesn't work quite right" project.

Otherwise...program was working well to that point

Well an uninstall of SageTV (while deleting the entire folder) should get SageTV back to working, but I would be more concerned with that BSOD. See if you can find out what hardware/driver caused that so it does not keep heppening to you.

No dice. Uninstalled SageTV then deleted the directory in program files. Reinstalled and still no go. Double click and nothing...

Maybe your java install got borked? Try uninstalling that too. Also, make sure Sage is NOT running as a service.

Score...thanks. I uinstalled/reistalled the Java app. That did it. Back to working with the program. Now if I can just get the video to look better. Hopefully the forums/faqs will solve that as well.
