Channel Surfing
I'm currently using an Ariel in to my pvr250, when switching around the channels, after a few changes it'll play like a second of the channel then stop. Pressing FFW it tried to go forwards but cant, it jumps back to where it got stuck. What is the issue here?

How about some basic system specs...
CPU, RAM, video card...etc, might help someone conjure up an answer. |

Shuttle SK41G
Video Card at the moment is an integrated S3, but the Geforce 2 GTS also did it. CPU is an XP2100+ HD IBM Deskstar 30gb Ram Corsair 256mb PC3200 XP Pro Sp1 Sage 2.0 |

Your onboard video is shared 32mb, 32mb is far from optimal. You have an AGP slot on board find a low priced 128mb just to get you going.
RAM is a little on the lite side, not to mention that you're robbing 32mb right off the top (kinda like taxes), but I digress... 512mb plays nice with Sage, see if you can upgrade, RAM prices are pretty reasonable now as compared to 6 months ago. The Athlon 2100+ is fine. |

I think it is a less than desirable amount of RAM
SageTV uses a sickening amount of Ram I would pull a stick from another computer so you can see if this will help but there is huge change when moving from 256 to 512 or memory |
