Where are the IR codes stored?

Where are linked IR codes stored?

I want to wipe out every single IR code that Sage is intercepting.

I'm using Girder with SendMessage, but for some reason the SELECT button on the Hauppauge remote is still mapped to sage, which results in a "double press" of the SELECT button every time inside sage.

I tried to Unlink, but Sage won't show anything's linked. But, if I use Show Link, then it will show that it's linked.

Arrrggghhh!

Thanks,

Stacy

In the [SAGETV] section of the irremote.ini file. This file is in your windows directory.

You will see the structure where you will be able to delete certain keys or all of them if you want. To completely remove any reference to SAGE you should also remove the SAGETV= line from the applications section and any other sections relating to SAGE Recorder, etc.

EDIT: Another easy way to do this is to re-install the IR application. This process will overrite the irremote.ini file and replace it with a default file with no referece to SAGE. Keep in mind though, whenever you re-install SAGE I believe the irremote.ini file is populated with the SAGE entries.

If you are using the Hauppauge IR receiver with Girder, you shouldn't be also running ir.exe, so you can stop loading that when the system boots. Actually, I suppose that would be the case even if you are using Girder with any IR receiver... if you aren't using the Hauppauge software with its receiver, then don't load ir.exe.

But, for someone who used to use an IR receiver (USB-UIRT or IRMan) directly with SageTV, then you can go to Detailed Setup & tell it to stop using the receiver on the Commands tab. I believe you can also delete the ui/rc_mappings/XXX lines in the properties file to clear the current learned commands/codes.

BTW: installing SageTV only inserts the SageTV commands into irremote.ini during installation if you choose the option for it to do so.

I can verify this is true.
