Favourite not recorded sometimes?

Just encountered a weird problem today and I wondered whether anyone else had come across it. I had a favourite scheduled to record today at 4.00pm. However it did not record.

Now here's the particulars of the problem:
1) I'm using XMLTV listings as my data source, however that should not cause the issue I'm seeing since this particular favourite has been recording fine for a week or more. In addition, I've checked both the xmltv data and the guide screen of SageTV and they both have the correct information.
2) This favourite is shown in the same timeslot on two channels. Again, this shouldn't be a problem since this has been the situation for the past week and it has always gotten recorded.
3) My diskspace is almost all used up. Again this shouldn't be a problem since SageTV should be deleting shows to make space. There is one question at the back of my mind...Does SageTV delete shows even if I haven't watched them? I'm assuming the answer is yes and therefore it should never run out of space.
4) Other favourites have been recorded in the meanwhile so it looks like it's not a general problem with the favourites engine.

So, any ideas on why my favourite was not recorded? It's on again tomorrow so we'll see what happens then.

Well I didn't change anything and the same favourite that was missed yesterday was recorded today. When I say I didn't change anything I mean I really didn't change anything;

1) Didn't restart Sage.
2) Didn't modify anyof the favourite settings
3) Didn't modify any other settings within Sage
4) Didn't reboot the computer

Oh, and another thing, it wasn't because a family member answered a Sage dialog incorrectly either. No one was home at the time the recording was missed.

Very strange. Well I'll see if it misses any more recordings in the future and see if I can come up with a pattern.
