CVD parameters

I have an HP media Center PC with AMD 64 processor. I am using the capture board which came with my PC, which as far as I can tell is a PCI PVR-150. Sage works fine in most quality modes except CVD. It gives me 720 x 480, instead of 352 x 480, which is listed in the properties file for CVD. All other parameters - video bitrate and audio bitrate match the properties settings. I have tried creating a custom setting in the properties files and the properties autobackup file, but the changes I make disappear. Any help with either of these issues would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know about CVD settings, though I seem to recall someone else commenting that they always got 720 x 480 regardless of resolution requested. If this is the case, I would consider letting Frey know via tech support or a bug report to see what they have to say about that. Is anyone else using CVD? If so, what are your resulting video files actually using?

Regarding creating your own custom settings: you will have to exit SageTV (and the service if you are using it) before editing sage.properties -- that file is overwritten when SageTV is exited & perhaps at other times. Any changes you make while SageTV is running are not used.

Jeff all ready know it and yes it a bug you just have wait for next beta which fix that problem on both 150 and 500.
