Quirk when starting sagetv 2.1

I wondered if anyone has had this issue with sagetv 2.1:

I have a hauppauge 250 tuner card installed and connected to a directv satellite tuner. When i start sagetv up, i get a black screen. I was about to jettison sage and go with BTV, until after tinkering with Sage i got it to work with the following:

I go into the setup wizard and switch the RF channel from 3 to 4, accept settings, exit the wizard, tune in a station (at this point i start receiving audio, but no video). I then go back into the setup wizard and switch the rf channel back to channel 3, accept the settings, and at that point i have both audio and video.

After this sage works beautifully, and incredibly stable. The only time i have to cycle through this is if i shut down sage or the computer.

Kingston DD400 512RAM
Asus p4p800e
