Recorded programs missing time slices

I have been experiencing a problem where time slices are missing from recorded programs. For example, today I had SageTV scheduled to record two programs starting at the same time. The first was a 30 min show and the second was a 60 min show. The first show lasted about 15 mins with the remaining 15 mins being the show that followed it. I did not really notice the portion of the program that was missing, the time on scrolling bar did not jump, and there where no read dropout sections on the scrolling bar. The second program also had time slices missing but these I did notice and the time did jump forward. The second recording also recorded some (10-15 min) of the program that following it. The dropouts did not occur at the time in both recordings.

I have experienced drop outs like this several times now. It seems to occur only when recording multiple programs. Nothing else was running on the computer when this happened and I was not watching the programs when they were being recorded.

My config is
P4 2.5 1GB mem 200 GB (video only disk)
1 PV-350
2 PV-250

Both programs were being recording in Extra Long Play DVD mode
