Shared folders are unavailable to Sage

Like the subject says. . . I can't get shared folders to show up in the library import folders. If I map a network drive, the drive letter won't even show up when I selet "Browse for New Directory" in Detailed Setup. . .

Anyone have/had similar problem?

I'm using SageTV 2.1 and WnXP Po SP2

Thanks,
Chris

R U running in Service Mode?

If so you'll have to make sure the service runs as a user and not as system account since the system account won't have access to things/devices not on the computer it is running on.

-- and don't use mapped drives -- use UNC naming:

\\computername\sharename\foldername

... and even when running the service as a real user, in Service mode you will never be able to access mapped/connected network drives by drive letter: you always have to specify the network path:
\\fileserver\share\path
