Yeah I see better quality in other apps as well
I feel the attitude of SageTV towards playback and picture quality has taken a backseat to everything else still most of their users are using software decoding, and then only the pvr 350 is supported and not work without problems I can definitely use other apps such as nstant media and get superior PQ and playback (and many other DVD apps as well) I have set my decoder to nvidia, smart mode and pixel adaptive deinterlaing the image does look good but the playback issues and softer image is quite noticable futhermore, I hope SageTV was consider changing these issues and actually attempting to compete in the PVR app market again suppose with only M$ MCE 2005 as real competition and with alot of people not liking M$, guess it makes it easy for them |
