Which quality setting is best? (Dvd standard play/mpeg2 max/etc)

Just curious. I figure the most straightforward outlook would be that they are in ascending order of quality setting in the menu?

I have a 9800 pro, PVR 500 MCE, sagetv 2.1, VMR9, NVDVD codecs, 1600x1200 res. Everything looks perfect in window mode where the TV is at it's native resolution (kinda). When I make it full screen, everything gets blocky at 1600x1200...

Just curious which quality setting will actually give the best quality for LiveTV? are there any tweaks or anything to maximize the quality of LiveTV or all around tweaks?

thanks for any tips/suggestions
