Possible Bug: two click FF locks SageTV recorded mpeg2

It's taken me a while to figure out just what caused the locking but I've finally identified it as pressing the 30 sec fast forward button twice quickly - as if to skip ahead fast. This completely locks Sage 2.1 and requires a task manager drop of the process. I have sage running as a service as well if that helps. What info can I provide to diagnose this?

More on this: if Sage is recording a show, and you join in late (mine was 15 min behind) and the FF lock occurs. When you restart sage and continue watching the show from where you left off, at the 15 minute forward mark which would have been the spot being written when the lock happend - my PC spontaniously reboots (tried this twice to be sure). I thought the SageTV service (which was running it the task manager) would have continued recording the show (which the hard drive activity seemed to justify) while I restarted SageTV.exe but it apears they are connected afterall.

Could this be related to the DirectX9c issue under SP2? I am running a G-Force 2 card but have the video set to Overlay, not VR9.
