Live Tv and recorded shows question

Ok, I would like to have seperate directories, one for what I actually chose to record and one for liveTV recordings. Can this be done? Do the live tv recordings ever get erased? If it can be, ideally I would want to set up a folder for just live tv and have it set to maybe 10-20 gigs maybe less.

'twould be nice to be able to assign different video directories to different types recordings, but no can do. Sage uses one video directory at a time for all recordings being done. But yes, LiveTV timeshift recordings are automatically deleted after you quit watching.

Appendix C of the SageTV manual tells how SageTV determines which video directory to use for the next recording and it also discusses what happens to live TV files.
