My windows media Player 10 freeze when trying to play a recorded clip.

I can't even start a movie clip and WMP10 just lockup when attempting to read mpgs I've made with SageTV recorder. It play fine with Winplayer classic and other players.

Same problem with my other computer but it says error when downloading Codecs. wthell.

Anyone know how I can fix this??

What is your WMP10 Default decoder? you may have to switch it. I'm not at a computer now that has a recent version of MP so i can't tell you how to check. sorry...someone else?

Fixed now. I googled there and there and I've read that the native WMP10 doesn't support MPEG2 (only Classic does).

I downloaded some MPEG2 decoders and it works now

My surprise is even Klite codec packs seems to not have these codecs.
