i was poking around in settings and was at a screen talking about video playback. it was set to 'custom'. i walked it backwards to medium, then basic testing each. medium had the playback error, but basic did not. so i left it there. i have no idea what this is, but it works now

I may be having the same problem as you but the resolution is not clear from this thread.
I get the error message almost the same as yours "There was a Capture Error...for capture" The only difference was that my error number ended in 3 whereas yours ended in 5. If I go ahead and configure the atsc tuner, it finds no channels in the scan. I have checked out the tuner on another program and it works fine so the tuner and the antenna are ok. I previously had the Sage system working but then I unplugged some USB stuff and then it no longer worked. Can you help me?
