Forum problems

When I view the forum start page the icons are full colour if there is new posts. After I've read the posts and view the start page again it never updates to reflect that there's no longer new posts. I do not have this problem with other web forums.

Also, I'm not sure if Freys servers are slow, but every time I enter the detailed reply view it takes a while before all the little images are loaded. I would imagine they are copied to my browser cache, so why aren't they loaded from there?

It may be an incompatibility with my browse, I'm using Firefox. But like I said, other forums don't exhibit this behaviour.

Thanks

I use FireFox exclusively, and the only issue I've had is that occasionally new posts don't show up in bold letters.

Hey Wheemer,

I'm also using firefox and notice similar issues. After viewing some new posts go back to the forum front page and try reloading the page and see if that does it for ya...it does for me.

Yeah.. I noticed that sometime when I hit reresh it works, and other times it doesn't. It here some way to turn off caching for a certain website? Maybe this would help. It seems stupid to cache a discussion board at all since the content is renewed so often...

I don't know how to do that myself but you may find an answer at the following forum:

It looks to be fairly active too!

Hope that helps.
