Disabling sound on composite input
I am using s-video input on my PVR 250 card, with the 1/8" sound input to go with it. I also have a security camera fed into the composite input, setup as another tuner. I would like to disable the sound when using the composite input. Is there anything I can edit in the property file to accomplish this?
Any other ideas? Thanks |

I guess this may not be possible...

I suspect it's possible but since recording without sound isn't exactly most people's goal noone knows how... have you emailed Frey support and asked them?

This is going to sound dumb, but does unplugging the composite sound input fit your needs? Or do you wan sound off for just playback?

Well I didn't ask support since it's not really a big deal. I thought it might be something as simple as a setting in the properties file.
I have the svideo setup as my main source so I do need the sound plugged in. It just that when I view the security camera I get the sound from the tuned in station on my STB. Again, nothing major, I just hit mute when viewing the composite. |
