SageTV requires the use of a tuner card with an onboard hardware encoder. So, no your card is not supported.

You could try searching the forum for that card, but here is a list of supported cards from the SageTV System Requirements.

When using software encoding tuners, your cpu is taxed as it is doing the grunt of the workload. I don't think there is any software that could handle four software tuners. Since the hardware tuners use very little cpu cycles, they prove to be much better in a multituner enviroment.

If I'm missunderstanding you, and you already have two hardware tuners, then at least dual tuner is better than none.
