Recording VHS question

I know this doesn't pertain exactly to Sage TV but you folks seem to be so knowledgeable in the area of recording video so I thought I would ask anyway.

I have a Hauppauge 150MCE running on a Win2K machine using Sage for TV. I've installed all the update drivers from Hauppauge's web site and everything is working fine. This particular model of PVR card also has composite video/audio inputs that I would like to use to record VHS for later burning to DVD. So far, I've been unable to find a video capture program that will recognize my card. Nero can't find it, Adobe Premiere can't find it and a whole slew of free video capture programs I've downloaded don't seem to recognize the card.

Any hints on where I can find such a program? I'm pretty sure the card is working fine and the installation of the drivers has been successful up to this point.

Thanks in advance.

This thread would probably be more appropriate in the Hardware forum, unless you were subconsciously suggesting trying to use SageTV to record.. which has been done before. You just have to add the composite inputs on your card as another source in SageTV (without EPG programming), and then setup a timed (manual) recording to specify the new source (composite), duration, and quality (probably DVD Long or Extra).

I've been told by Hauppauge the WinTV2K will not operate under Windows 2000 while using any of the MCE cards.

Thanks for the replies, I'll try posting in the hardware forum.
