Upgraded to 2.2.6 and Actsys IR no longer works
My PVR was working great until I upgraded to 2.2.6 last night and now the Actsys isn't sending commands to my cable box. I deleted the source and went through the setup to recreate it. When I get to the point where it asks how to control it, the only option I have it Direct Serial...Actsys isn't listed.
Any clues? |

reinstall Sage and in one of the first windows of the installation process be sure to check the box to support the Actsys IR

As far as I remember, there is no box in an installation screen to select adding support for the ActiSys; it is just one of the tuning plugins that you can select while going through the Setup Wizard. If it does not show up there, I'm not sure what might have happened.... but if the support files for it got messed up somehow, the suggested act of reinstalling SageTV might fix that.

Reinstalling Sage fixed it for me.

Ok, I feel silly....Reinstalling didn't fix it...but repositioning it so that it blasted to the cable box did wonders! (If only I was a little smarter! )
