Translation?

Hello,
I was thinking about translating SageTV to dutch. But before I would start on that, it seemed a good idea to check if someone else has already done the job..

So:
Have any of you guys got a complete translation of SageTV?
Would make my life a bit easier

According to a page on the community wiki, nobody has done any translations -- at least not ones that they'd like to share: http://sage-community.org/index.cgi/wiki/Localization

I wouldn't call that page all that reliable, though.

I have asked if this was possible a couple months ago, to make my SageTV more "acceptable" for my wife. But there is no file which can be edited for the job. You need the source code, but I don't think Frey will give you this ;-)

The page I linked above has a link to the instructions for localization. My understanding is that you don't need anything other than those instructions.

Translation into Dutch

Been there done that.

I have made a translation into Dutch which I have uploaded to the above link. No guarantee on correctness, but it does work if you follow the general instructions.
One word of caution though: I have found that part of the menus is gone after making the change, Also I have found no method to un-do the change and revert top the orriginal in order to get the entire menu back.
